No more Oprah Fridays for Mark Consuelos
Mark Consuelos, the man who presided over Howard Stern's wedding to Beth O, will no longer be part of the panel discussion on Friday episodes of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Mark Consuelos was a regular panelist on the weekly Oprah Winfrey Show "Fridays Live" segment over the past year.
Mark Consuelos was only signed on as an Oprah Winfrey Show panelist for a one-year contract as part of the "Fridays Live" promotion to boost Oprah's sagging ratings. The Oprah Winfrey Show will be keeping the "Fridays Live" theme but will be having different formats for the show from week to week. Alexandra Wentworth and Oprah's pal Gayle King will stay on as regular guest commentators along with former The View co-host Lisa Ling.
Mark Consuelos and his wife Kelly Ripa are close friends of The Howard Stern Show. Mark Consuelos acted as minister for Howard Stern and Beth O's nuptials at Le Cirque restaurant in Manhattan last October.
