No Kill Colorado

No Kill Colorado will go the distance for homeless animals when it runs the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon this May. Runners can join the NKC team and help raise money to support the organization.

This year’s Colfax Marathon is Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18. The marathon and half marathon, Urban 10 and Relay will be run on Sunday. The marathon course runs through some of Denver’s most incredible landmarks including Mile High Stadium, Sloan’s Lake, City Park and historic Colfax Avenue. The half marathon is the only race to run through Denver Zoo. There will also be a 5k race on Saturday.

No Kill Colorado has put together a team and runners can run (or walk) any race they want whether it be the 5k or the full marathon. People who want to join the team can register on the Colfax Marathon website. Just select No Kill Colorado as a charity partner.

No Kill Colorado is non-profit that works with communities to help find homeless pets forever homes. The organization also works in the community to provide spay and neuter services as well as help improve shelter conditions and eliminate breed specific legislation.
