"A comparison of the girl's profile against Interpol's global DNA database has not produced a match," Interpol said in a statement. "All of the organization's 190 member countries are now being encouraged to check her DNA profile against their own national databases, as Greek authorities investigate whether the young girl known as "Maria" may have been abducted or fallen prey to child traffickers."
Debrorah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin the parents of missing Baby Lisa from Kansa City stated they believe that Maria could be their child after studying pictures of her. Baby Lisa would be three-years-old now.
A dental examination on Maria determined that she was actually five or six-years-old and not 4, as the Roma family that she was found with said. Christos Salis, 39, and his wife, Eleftheria Dimopoulou, 41, who Maria was found living with, are now in police custody, charged with abduction and falsifying documents.
