No interest in beautiful stray with painful eye condition

Cocker spaniel in need of a new home

Update! Rescued by ALL Animals Rescue - her new name is "Violet." Click here to read the update on this dog.

A gorgeous Cocker spaniel, who arrived to the Ramona Humane Society in San Jacinto, Calif., as a stray on July 24 has been described as "a gem," and "sweet as can be," but she has not yet been rescued or adopted.

The lack of interest in this beautiful dog, whose name is unknown, might be the result of her visible eye condition, which the facility believes to be "cherry eye." (Read more about this condition here)

This lovely five-year-old dog's Petfinder biography reads:

She is as sweet as can be and is hoping to catch someone’s eye. Speaking of eyes, she appears to have cherry eye in both eyes…easily treatable condition. What a gem to find in a shelter!

This beautiful gal came to us as a stray so we estimate her age to be 5 yrs. old, weighs 34.9 lbs.

She is up to date on shots, de-wormed, good w/her kennel mates and she will be spayed prior to her adoption.

Time is running out for this sweet-natured dog...during her stay at the facility, nobody has expressed an interest in her. Please take a moment to network the following information to help this deserving dog leave the facility, before she is lost forever.
