First Sunday of every month brings bike parts vendors, cool cars, fancy rides, food and fun to the Webster (FL) Westside auto and motorcycle swap meet and show. The flea market itself is open on different days for non-automotive for two-wheeled type folks (it's best to visit their website for details) but for the once a month biker and auto swap meet, it's strictly fossil fuel burning machinery that rules the day.

Local vendors (and some not so local) get together to peddle their wares. From old Harley parts (the place is definitely leaning heavily towards the Harley folks) to some custom cool antiques of a variety typical to the eclectic bunch like old-school southerners, this place has a lot to offer.

Need a special part for an old Panhead? They'll probably have it here. An old Harley tank? Yup. Fenders? Tons of 'em. Chrome? You bet. And some harder-core engine parts like cranks, intakes, heads, etc. Plus, tools, do-dad's, electrical wiring stuff, old automotive and motorcycle signs and some things that would send the American Pickers boys into a tizzy.

Always fun, the bike and car show is a big draw. Custom-made one-off chopper jobs sit a few feet away from vintage Kawasaki bikes, Suzuki's, classic cars, trucks and other models.

What you won't find is BS. These are generally regulars selling here, with friendly but business-type dispositions. They'll dicker on price a bit, but sometimes not very much. You'll find these hard working folks make their living selling at flea markets. Be nice, ask for a lower price, but don't argue if they won't budge.

Food venders are on property, serving a variety grub that's sure to fill the tummy, empty from an afternoon of prowling the place for deals.

The times for the motorcycle and auto swap meet and show is 8-3. And again, this is only the first Sunday of each month, rain or shine. Camping is available for those wishing to stay over for Monday's regular flea market day.

Check out their Facebook page for up to date postings on their status. Cost is $5 to get in, but this enters you for a patron drawing with a $100 prize and the choice of one free beer, water or soda.

Address for the flea market is 516 NW 3rd Street Webster, FL 33597. Mark it in your calendar for next month! June, 2014's show date will be on the first of the month.
