"No Fear in Love!" (1 John 4:17:18)

"17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." (1 John 4:17:18)

Believers that walk in love can have assurance of faith in Jesus. Love makes one like Jesus amongst those who do not know them. Believers know God, and He is with them. He or she does not need to fear God. He has accepted them as a son or daughter. They are excluded from His judgment. There is a day of judgment for all the wrong in the world. Punishment is reserved for that wrong and one should fear the wrath of God.

Believers turning to Jesus are accepting His righteousness. There is no fear of the provision of God’s love. Salvation has come to all who believe. This salvation will protect them in that Day! Perfect love will drive out insecurities and peace will pursue the person trusting in the Most High God. His love surrounds them.

Challenge: Believer, place trust in God’s love and do not fear! He is with you!
