According to Will Smith and his wife of thirteen years, Jada Pinkett Smith, their marriage is not heading for divorce court. Rumors spread through the web on August 23, 2011 after In Touch Weekly reported that the couple were separating.
Will and Jada made a statement on Tuesday night that may squelch the rumors. The couple told Entertainment Tonight, "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact."
InTouch Weekly's false rumor is still billed as a 'Top Story' on Wednesday night despite the Smith's statement.

Actor, film producer and rapper Will Smith, 42, told Ellen DeGeneres in 2008 and stated that divorce, "just can't be an option ... the problem with L.A. – there are so many options. So a huge part of the success for [Jada] and I is that we just removed the other options."
For many who knew of Smith's strong feelings against divorce, the rumors seemed to be a bit out of character for the couple who appear to have a good grip on marriage and family life.
Will and Jada have two children, Jaden, 13, and 10-year-old Willow -- well known for her single, Whip My Hair, that became an overnight sensation on the Internet. Will also has a son, Trey, from his marriage to Sheree Zampino.
The couple's son, Jaden, who starred in Karate Kid, showed support for his parents by tweeting out "#ITsAllLies" on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
On Tuesday night, inTouch Weekly made no updates to their tweet claiming that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are separating. Their last tweet about the topic states, "In Touch Weekly Exclusive: Will and Jada Pinkett Smith SEPARATE!"
