No Decision Is A Decision
Frequently I work with Pastors and Churches who apply some valid and accurate Assessments to their ministry. These tools reveal the obvious need for change. The decision they make is "NO DECISION"! They are paralyzed by the brutal reality of their circumstance. Thus, they do nothing.
Doing nothing in the face of significant dysfunction, attempting to execute ministry with a process that fails to honor God's Word is not only futile, it is ultimately fatal. I have heard the following statement from so called leaders - - "well at least we will continue to exist in my lifetime!" What? the goal is not mere continued existence but robust effectiveness to the glory of Christ.
When is the last time you made a ministry decision that brought effectiveness to ministry and glory to Christ?
