No-bake cookie balls recipe

The holidays are known as a time for baking.Many people bake up a storm this time of year and give their beautiful concoctions as gifts. While your oven is working overtime cooking up your breads, cookies, and other goodies, why not try out this no-bake cookie ball recipe. Your oven will be thankful for a break, or maybe you will be happy to be multitasking in preparing your holiday goodies. Either way, this is a quick and easy recipe worth trying.

No-Bake Cookie Balls

  • 1 cup semi-sweet morsels
  • 3 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 3/4 crushed vanilla wafers (around 55-60 wafers)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 3 TBLS light corn syrup
  • additional confectioners sugar

In a large microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chip morsels. Stir in confectioners sugar, walnuts, orange juice and corn syrup. Roll into one inch balls. Roll in the additional confectioners sugar. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy, or give as a gift.
