Following the announcement of the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Season Pass and the Freedom Cry starring Adewale, Ubisoft confirmed Wednesday that the Wii U version of the game will not receive any DLC whatsoever.
Ubisoft has been on of the more consistent supporters of the Wii U since its launch while other publishers have either dropped DLC, dropped game features or dropped support for the platform altogether. Assassin's Creed 3 did receive DLC for the Wii U but it was a delayed release compared to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is due out for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on Oct. 29. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will be released alongside the next-gen consoles on Nov. 15 and 22. The PC version will be released Nov. 19.
