Although Street Fighter IV started out as an arcade game, its expansion will only be released on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Yoshinoro Ono, the producer for the game and the upcoming expansion Super Street Fighter IV, made the following statement through a translator in a video interview with Gamereactor:
So, unfortunately, I’m sorry to say to arcade fans out there: there won’t be an arcade version of this. I think a lot of people were kind of requesting an arcade update. I know that, in some parts of the world, it doesn’t really matter if there’s an arcade version or not. But certainly in Japan and the rest of Asia and some parts of the Oceania, there’s still a lot of people playing in arcades. So, I’m sorry to disappoint them but this time its going to be Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 only affair.
Super Street Fighter IV is slated for next spring as a retail release for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. A PC version is still up in the air.

CAPCOM's annoucement, especially those about "there will be no such thing" usually have very little credibility.
Oh come on! There got to be a PC version of SSF4! Why would CAPCOM release a PC version of the original SF4 and then let the fans dying by not realeasing the addon on the PC?
Some reporter should ask Ono about this one!
Good question Predator.
Have faith people.
It WILL come out on the PC. For now, we FAST; fasting from not playing SSF4 on the PC just yet :-(((((
Got something to say?
