NM shooting leaves 2 adults and 3 children dead (Photos)

On Jan. 20 The Washington Post reported that a teenage boy fatally shot two adults and three children. The brutal shooting occurred at a home near Albuquerque, authorities said Sunday.

The teenager whom authorities believe is about 15 years old, was arrested and charged with murder and numerous other charges in connection with the shootings. Identities of the victims have not been released.

A motive and or connection to the five victims has not been uncovered. Aaron Williamson, a sheriff’s spokesman, said investigators were trying to determine if the victims were related. “We are trying to identify the victims,” Williamson said.

All the victims suffered from more than one gunshot wound. There were several guns found in the home. Currently investigators are working to determine who owned the guns. One of the guns was a semi-automatic military-style rifle.

Authorities are not releasing any information about the teenager accused in the vicious attack. The 15 year old was booked on two counts of murder and three counts of child abuse resulting in death.
