Voorhees, NJ - Our beloved pets are there for us for their entire lives, giving unconditional love and support, in good times and bad, never expecting anything in return. During an illness, there's no need to put on a brave face or pretend with them. Just their presence is all that is necessary to bring comfort.

When Lisa Wu was battling breast cancer two years ago, she had support from her entire family. But when she adopted Sprout almost eighteen months ago, he became her devoted canine companion, who was then there for her every step of the way through this devastating time in her life.

"I was depressed. I was feeling sick. I was in bed constantly, and I guess I was looking for something to lift my spirits and to take my mind off all my symptoms." ~Lisa

But now the tables have turned. Sprout is lost and needs the love and support from his human companions, friends, family, and the public to find his way back home.

Sprout, a Maltese-Yorkie mix, went missing while being walked by a dog sitter near their Voorhees home on Saturday, February 22, while his family was away. He slipped his collar and ran in the Village Drive area of Maison Place. He was seen that afternoon at CVS on Kresson Rd at Centennial Blvd.

A recent post on Sprout's FB page states that there was a possible sighting at Downing Lane and Regan Lane yesterday afternoon.

"It's just awful. I've been crying for three days straight and I don't know where he could be." ~Lisa

Concerned neighbors have put up hundreds of flyers in the area to help get the word out about Sprout.

His heartbroken family is searching and desperate to have him back in their loving arms. Lisa believes he may be in the Cherry Hill, Marlton, or Voorhees area. If you find Sprout or know of his whereabouts, call Reggie at (856) 287-8677. Please share to help bring this loving pup home to his family.

A reward is being offered that leads to his safe return.
