The 2014 NIT Final Four live stream and TV coverage is scheduled to get underway tonight from Madison Square Garden in New York. All four of these teams have fought hard to make it this far, but one of them has a definite chip on their shoulder. The SMU Mustangs and head coach Larry Brown felt they deserved a shot at the NCAA Tournament, but they were left on the outside looking in. The best thing the Mustangs can do now - win the NIT Tournament. SMU vs. Clemson is the first of two NCAA live streaming games tonight. The second game will feature FSU taking on Minnesota.

According to a News Observer report on April 1, SMU will play Clemson in Game 1 tonight of the NIT Final Four with a championship berth on the line. Although the NIT may not get the hype the NCAA Tournament does, the shot at a championship always means a lot to these kids.

These two teams don't have much a history behind them in terms of facing each other, but with SMU feeling they were "snubbed" by the NCAA committee, and Clemson with a shot to prove they can be a team that feels they are "better than just a NIT team" , you can bet this should be a great game!

These two squads have only faced each other one time in their school's history.

Clemson defeated SMU 67-51 in 1970 Music City Classic in Nashville. The winner this game will advance to the NIT Championship to face either Florida State or Minnesota on April 3.

Las Vegas odds makers have SMU as a 3 point favorite with the over/under number set at 119.

Fans can catch all the action for this big NIT battle on ESPN2 nationally and streaming live online through WatchESPN beginning at 7:00 p.m. EST.
