Nissan Skyline replica kit car

The most famous of all JDM vehicles is undoubtedly the Nissan Skyline, R34. This vehicle is featured in numerous online and Hollywood films. Fast and Furious is famous for promoting the Nissan Skyline as it rips up competition and decimates everything in it's path. The Nissan Skyline features a long tradition of JDM performance that all true motor sport fans can appreciate. Even the most hardcore domestic fans can still appreciate what the Nissan Skyline dishes out!

Suitable chassis for Nissan Skyline builds:

The Nissan Skyline replica kit car is built on a custom frame and powered by a Volkswagen horizontal four cylinder engine. This Skyline replica setup is nothing more than show and is not fast at all! Don't try to show up at a street racing meet in one of these and race for pinks, you'll lose terribly and look like a total poser. That being said, you could swap a real engine into this chassis and do some damage at the meets, convincing on lookers of your Skyline's legitimacy. Lacking all of the appropriate interior, the following Skyline replica kit car needs much more work. It would be possible to find the missing interior pieces from wrecked Skylines, or perhaps take a swap from a 1998 240sx. The interior is similar, but still needs some major fiberglass work to become identical.

Taking on the replica build is a very in depth endeavor, and should only be challenged by the most savvy fabricators. A degree in mechanical engineering would be required, as well as experience in welding, fiberglass, and extensive assembly. Overall, the price does not weigh out. It would be much more fiscally suitable to just buy a used, higher mileage Nissan Skyline that can be purchased for around $20,000 to $30,000. If you must build a replica of the Skyline, use the following footage as a guide.
