Nissa, Worldwaker - 3GG
Planeswalker - Nissa (Mythic Rare)
+1 Loyalty: Target land you control becomes a 4/4 Elemental creature with trample. It's still a land.
+1 Loyalty: Uptap up to four target Forests.
-7 Loyalty: Search your library for any number of basic land cards, put them onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library. Those lands become 4/4 Elemental creatures with trample. They're still lands.
Starting loyalty of 3
Nissa, Worldwaker can be an absolute bomb, in the right deck. She can protect herself while slowly building loyalty by transforming your lands into 4/4 Elemental creatures with trample, one at a time. It's that second ability which makes Nissa, Worldwaker quite attractive though. Next turn you'll have a whopping nine mana. Ten, if you play another land. Because Niss, Worldwaker specifies Forests, you'll be able to untap Shocklands too.
So what can you do with all that mana in Standard? Play amazing cards such as Ashen Rider, Bearer of the Heavens, Rise of the Dark Realms, Skarrg Goliath, or Worst Fears. In just another turn or two you'll be able to hard cast Worldspine Wurm. Perhaps a better idea though would be activating large Monstrosity costs like Stormbreath Dragon, Hydra Broodmaster, Hythonia the Cruel, or Polukranos, World Eater.
Of course, the ability to untap your lands also allows you to cast other spells and then attack with your lands that've been animated. Or untap your Elemental creatures after attacking with them so that they can be used defensively.
It's Nissa, Worldwaker's third and ultimate ability though which makes her absolutely bonkers. Thinning your deck of say, 15 to 20 lands is a huge deal. In a deck filled with just basic lands, every card you draw afterwards will be a business spell. Another threat or removal spell for your rival to deal with. 15 4/4 Elemental creature tokens with trample is impressive, however you shouldn't just sit around giving your opponent the chance to cast an Extinguish All Hope, Fated Retribution, or Supreme Verdict. With an Ogre Battledriver on the battlefield you'll be able to attack right away.
