Last week, anime and video game publisher NIS America confirmed plans to release “Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!” season one on Blu-ray in April of this year.

The 12-episode XEBEC (Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne) produced anime series is based on the series of light novels written by Manta Aisora, with illustrations from Koin. The series was inspired by the lore of H.P. Lovecraft.

The series follows Mahiro Yasaka, who finds his life thrown into chaos when he comes under attack by a fearsome demon and is saved by Nyaruko, the Crawling Chaos, sent to protect him by the Planetary Defense Agency. It turns out that all of the creatures from H.P. Lovecraft’s “Cthulhu Mythos” are actually aliens and Nyaruko isn’t the only one that will be crashing in on Mahiro’s life as Kuko, the Ravenous Chaos and Hasuta, the Deity of Wind join in on the fun.

Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!” season one will be available in NIS America’s premium edition packaging beginning on April 15, 2014. It will be priced at $64.99 and includes the series on two Blu-ray discs as well as a 32-page full-color art book packaged in a hardcover slipcase.

NIS America also confirmed earlier this month that it has acquired “Chronicles of the Going Home Club” for release in North America. A home video release is planned by the publisher and all launch details will be available at a later date. The series is currently streaming on both Hulu.com and Crunchyroll.com.

Next month, fans of some of NIS America’s older anime will be able to pick up standard editions of two of their popular series. Volumes one through three ($54.99 each volume) of “Kimi ni Todoke -From Me to You-” and seasons one and two (bundled together for $59.99) of “Natsume’s Book of Friends” will be available on February 4, 2014.
