NIS America acquires ‘Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara’

In an announcement earlier this week, anime publisher NIS America confirmed that it has acquired the anime series “Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara” (If Her Flag Breaks) for release in North America.

“Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara” is based on the light novel written by Toka Takei and illustrated by Cuteg. The series features animation production by Hoods Entertainment and is directed by Ayumu Watanabe and series composition from Takashi Aoshima.

The anime follows Sota Hatate, a new transfer student who finds himself living under the same room as a bevy of beautiful girls. Being surrounded by girls isn’t all that Sota must deal with however, he also has the special ability to see the future of those around him, in the form of flags that appear above their heads.

NIS America has plans to release “Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara” on home video, however any details about that were not released at this time. The series began streaming earlier this week via Crunchyroll. If you would like to see the series before a home release, you can visit
