A rumored subject to be touched upon in the book, is the incident when Courtney Love allegedly asks Hollywood writer Neil Strauss to join her in snorting Cobain's ashes.

Strauss writes in detail his side of the alleged incident in his book"Everyone Loves You When You Are Dead," describing the day that Love" walked to a dresser, pulls open a drawer, and removes a square-shaped tin. She removes the lid, revealing a plastic bag full of white ashes. A faint smell of jasmine emanates from the tin.

Strauss continues writing "Courtney said 'Too bad you don't do coke. Otherwise I'd suggest taking a metal straw to it.' "I replied.'Yeah,I don't think that would be the right thing to do.' "She[Love} said, "I'd like to though."

Kurt Cobain was found dead on April 8, 1994,his body was discovered in his home at Lake Washington by a repair man.the mans stated if it weren't for the blood coming from his year,he would have believed Cobain to have been asleep, until he noticed a shotgun pointing at his chin, and a suicide note addressed to Cobain's childhood imaginary friend "Boddah." Kurt Cobain was 27-years- old and is now listed on the famous list of entertainers who have met an early demise all at the age of 27.

Singer Amy Winehouse's name was added to the 27-list in July of 2011, which also  includes James Dean, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison to name a few.
