Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre received a $5,000 check from last year’s LA VITA commitment. Previous Santa Cruz beneficiaries were Jacob’s Heart, Siena House, Hospice, Santa Cruz County Search & Rescue, Good Shepherd School and St. Francis Soup Kitchen.
Bargetto presents art label at annual LA VITA release party
At the recent LA VITA release party, the new label design was unveiled. This vintage honors Francisco Jose de Goya (1746-1828), Spanish painter of the Romantic era. His colorful painting The Grape Harvest is featured on the label. The charming creekside patio was drenched in sunshine, appetizers were served along with Bargetto wine selections and the live music of Extra Lounge completed this festive event.
The party was attended by approximately 200 people, most of them Bargetto fans and wine club members. Bill Hiller of San Jose and Aptos has been a member for ten years, for as long as the club has been in existence. He and his wife coordinate their social schedules to align with the various club events held throughout the year.” I enjoy their non-traditional wines, like the Dolcetto. All the wines are consistently good and the staff never fails to provide a welcoming atmosphere”, he says.
