Nintendo announced earlier this morning that it has changed up the games that are offered as part of the Wii U Deluxe package. This move appears to be the latest in a string of manuevers all geared towards making the company's next generation console that much more popular.
The new package will come with two different games on one disc. The package will also feature two of the most popular characters in the history of Nintendo. "New Super Mario Bros. U" and "New Super Luigi U" will be offered up with Nintendo Wii U Deluxe starting on November 1.
This new package follows a report that the console is finally seeing an increase in sales. The next generation console also had the drop in price that has seemingly helped give the Wii U a second life.
Nintendo Land has been the game that most often comes with the regular Nintendo Wii U Deluxe but that will be changing on November 1. Gamers will still be able to get the game separately for $29.99 from the Nintendo eShop.
Nintendo seems to understand that at least part of the Wii U's repaired popularity has to do with what games are offered in a package. The company recently came out with a "Legend of Zelda" package. This grouping includes download code for "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD," as well as a specially designed Gamepad controller and a digital download of the "Hyrule Historia."
