Nintendo Wii console now has Amazon Instant Video streaming app

Back in November last year Nintendo dropped it's newest home console on the video game market. While gamers have been enjoying their new Wii U consoles, the Wii continues on getting new games and even new apps.

Many Wii owners know that the Wii can use applications like Netflix, and those that are still using their little white boxes for more then motion controlled gaming should be happy to hear that Amazon Instant Streaming is now available for them as well.

The application is already available on the Wii U, so it's a little surprising they would take the step to put the app on the outdated console.

Nintendo announced today via Twitter that the streaming service would be available through the Wii Shop Channel. Should you not find what you're looking for on Netflix, the Amazon Instant Streaming App should do you just fine.

See, the little white box is more useful then most people think.
