Nintendo has another big name release due for release this month. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will hit stores on Friday, February 21st in the United States and in the United Kingdom. This new Donkey Kong game will be the first Wii U title released from Nintendo’s Retro Studios.

In this new Donkey Kong adventure, gamers can play as Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong, Diddy Kong, or Donkey Kong himself. Players can take advantage of non-stop action in single player mode and gamers can take on the villainous Snowmads with a friend in co-op mode.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze also has great scenery. Players can zip line through the tropical rainforest, race in the mountains, avoid brush fires in the forest, explore the ocean, and take on Donkey Kong’s snow filled home obstacle course.

This new Donkey Kong game brings all of the original charm from past games, but adds a bursting visual flair for the new generation. Fated to be a family classic, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is only the first installment of this franchise. Find more details about Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze on Nintendo.com.
