First it was Microsoft's Avatars that were confirmed as playable characters. Now, Nintendo's popular Mii characters are confirmed by SEGA to appear on the roster of impressive characters in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. The Nintendo version of the game is also coming bundled with a racing wheel peripheral, similar to Nintendo's release of Mario Kart Wii.
Of course the most exciting part about using Mii characters in the game isn't using the Miis that resemble you or your family, but rather the celebrity Miis. I can't wait to take Miss Piggy or Ned Flanders out for a spin.
