Nintendo bringing "Wii Games" tournament to local cities

Get ready for an epic summer battle, set to take place in malls across the country. Nintendo is about to roll out their first national tournament in years, kicking off on July 16th. The "Wii Games" summer 2010 tournament will allow teams to take part in a collection of 5 different Wii video game titles for a chance to show off their skills. Players will compete in different challenges set between titles including Mario Kart Wii, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the basketball mini-game in Wii Sports Resort, the Hula-Hoop mini-game in Wii Fit Plus and the bowling mini-game in Wii Sports.


Scores will be assessed to determine the winners of the tournament. Winners will have a chance to be flown to Los Angeles to compete in the national championship, and will have a chance at winning some stellar prizes.
