Nintendo 2DS is $99 at Best Buy, 'Elder Scrolls Online' $20 cheaper

Best Buy is back with another round of game deals for the week of Sunday, May 4. While the day is better known as a pseudo-celebration of all things “Star Wars”, deal hunters will find the Nintendo 2DS marked down to its lowest price along with discount on a handful of PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS Vita and PC titles.

The Nintendo 2DS is available at Best Buy for $99.99. That’s $30 off the regular price for the entry-level handheld. This is good for both the Crimson Red and Electric Blue color options but does not include the “Pokemon X” bundle like the Target deal a few weeks back did.

Recently released “The Elder Scrolls Online” also received a big discount. The PC MMORPG’s price was slashed by $20 and is available for $39.99. It joins a host of other consoles and PC games that see the same discount including “Battlefield 4”, “Killzone: Shadow Fall” and “FIFA 14”. Meanwhile, “Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes” saw its price dropped $5 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The PS Vita received some sales love too with games being placed on sale. “The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season”, “Tearaway”, “Uncharted: Golden Abyss” and “MLB 13: The Show” all received $10 discounts and are available between $14.99 and $29.99.

For pre-orders, My Best Buy Gamers Club members can get $10 back in reward certificates with the pre-order and purchase of “Watch Dogs”, “The Elder Scrolls Online”, “Dying Light”, “Destiny” and “Batman: Arkham Knight”. You can also get $20 back in reward certificates with the pre-order and purchase of “Wolfenstein: The New Order.” There’s even an offer for a $10 gift card to spend on gas with the in-store pre-order and purchase of “Mario Kart 8” for the Wii U.
