A Nintendo 2DS bundle featuring either “Pokémon X” or “Pokémon Y” pre-installed on the system will be available December 6 in Target and Toys R Us stores, Nintendo announced in a press release today obtained by Examiner.
The “Pokémon X” bundle will be available at Target stores, while the “Pokémon Y” bundle will retail at Toys R Us. Both bundles will sell for $149.99.
The fastest selling game on the Nintendo 3DS, “Pokémon X & Y” is the first game in the series and features over 700 Pokémon from every game in the franchise, as well as new mega evolutions of some of the games biggest favorites. Since their release on Oct. 12, the games have sold a combined two million copies.
Combined with the hinge-free, child-friendly 2DS, this holiday season offer may be a gift givers’ best opportunity to share the love of Nintendo’s most storied franchises.
