Nine Lives Foundation offers free surgeries during Spay Neuter Awareness Month

Nine Lives Foundation continues to offer free spay/neuter cat surgeries at its clinic this month in support of February Spay Neuter Awareness Month. The no-kill shelter in Redwood City, which is offering free surgeries for up to 100 cats, reports that it has not yet reached its 100 surgery goal so Bay Area cat guardians can still take advantage of this opportunity. After the first 100 free spay/neuter surgeries, the low cost clinic is providing its surgeries at further reduced rates of $35 for spays and $25 for neuters.

Appointments are not required but recommended. Nine Lives is located at 3016 Rollison Road, Redwood City. Phone is 650-368-1365.

Nine Lives Foundation is a no-kill cat rescue nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation that works to address the over-population of homeless cats in Northern California. Nine Live Foundation’s mission is to provide low-cost spay/neuter services, vaccinations, medical care, shelter and adoptions for stray, feral, and at-risk cats, and to offer affordable medical care to local TNR (trap/neuter/return) and rescue groups through its on-site veterinary clinic.
