Winter 2014 Events

The Cobblestone Relay is a fast paced, cross-country race that will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park on Wednesday, Feb. 26. It is one of Tahoe City’s best spectator events in addition to being an incredibly fun competition for participants. Attendees from last year say it is an event that one would expect to see in a small European town. Register at

Wacky Winter Bowling, TCDA’s annual SnowFest tradition, offers sledding on saucers into blow-up “pins” beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 2. Children and adults will enjoy the fun event. Helmets provided. Each team gets three chances to knock down as many pins as possible. Prizes will be awarded to first place in a variety of categories. Wacky Winter Bowling is held in the Tahoe Winter Sports Park at the Tahoe City Golf Course. Register in person at 10 a.m. on March 2.

The upcoming events are really worth the trip, but more than that, every day in Tahoe City offers something worthwhile,” says Davis. For the most up to date information on events throughout the region, follow TCDA at or go to
