People.com managed to pin down Twilight's Nikki Reed at last night's Express TXT L8TR Campaign party at Nobu in West Hollywood (is that really an okay name for a party?), and the actress had some interesting remarks about costars Rachelle Lefevre and Robert Pattinson.
When asked about the now infamous scandal surrounding Summit Entertainment's decision to replace Lefevre with actress Bryce Dallas Howard in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Reed said she hasn't "talked to [Lefevre] yet. I don't know anything about it other than a schedule conflict."
But Reed does think she knows what makes Robert Pattinson such an ideal Edward Cullen: "Rob is sort of feminine looking and I think young girls like boys that look like women."
First he has to worry about rabid fans, and now he has to stress about his feminine side? Poor Rob.

Why would she say that? Good God. I am 40 (not no little girl) and I think Rob is very attractive and it has nothing to do with being feminine looking (Oh yeah because he's not!)

I don't believe she said that. She either stumbled over what she really meant to say or she was misquoted or taken out of context. It happens all the time and the media are more than happy to print the slip of the tongue.
It is so funny about what Nikki said about Rob, not that I agree, and she isn't talking smack because they "broke up!!" she has a new boyfriend, but it was funny!! The comment about Rachelle was rehearsed because that is what Summit told the cast to say when asked about this issue
Summit made a bad decision in replacing Rachelle. They made their excuses but they should've been more concerned with the final product. Summit stated that she would miss some rehearsals and some photo shoots and claimed couldn't be done at any other time. What Crap. The producers seem more concerned with their own egos then the product they put out. The proof ,I could list movie after movie that Hollywood producers have screwed up because of stupid egos and power plays. How many classics ever get made anymore. If one does get made it's usually in spite of the studio. Way to go Summit. Twilight will be a classic but I'd bet money that the next two won't. Oh! they will make a lot of money but I can already see from the trailer and clips of New Moon that the heart is gone. Catherine, you are missed!! Thanks for all your hard work and thanks for the wonderful casting. At least we'll always have Twilight a true classic already.
As a newly gained fan of the saga, it disgusts me that studio executives would do such a thing without clear communication with the actor in order to work on a solution. Even though I have just discovered the saga I hope to continue watching that is unless this decision is retracted. Rachelle Lefevre's performance was superb. To go ahead and recast the part on such terms is offensive to the fans. I plan on fighting this by not watching anymore sequels. Imagine if the film studio for Harry Potter had done something like this and the magnitude of the fans outrage. Summit better prepare for the rath of its committed fans.
I agree with Sandy - it's just sour grapes cos she got dumped. This is the same person who said she prefers Paris Hilton's leftovers to Rob. Yeah, riiiight!!!!
Feminine? I don't think so! There's nothing feminine about that jaw line or those eye brows.
i don't think nikki reed and ashley greene think before they speak. both have said some really dumb things. i guess they are still new to fame? who knows.
There is nothing feminine about Rob, I wished they'd dumped Nikki and left Rachelle in..I'll be one of those boycotting them for this very stupid move..they seriously jumped the shark!

I don't agree with her choice of word. He is humble, shy, funny and adorable. He doesn't appear to be obnoxious, macho, or a testastorone infested "manly" jock. As far as Rachelle is concerned, if she has substantial airtime in New Moon, switching to a different actress for Eclipse is a BAD idea. She has a good presence on film. Too bad on the timing issue. I wouldn't boycott seeing Eclipse because of this, however.
Summit should have kept Rachelle Lefevre. Why destroy the cast chemistry. And why did they choose Bryce Dallas Howard - just because she's Ron Howard's daughter? She's a lousy actress.
Don't think Nikki Reid meant anything negative by the 'feminine' comment. Just that he is attractive 'beacause' of the less heavy jawline, and I agree with that - look just at the lower half of his face and you will understand.
No-one knows if he and Nikki ever dated - and I doubt it, so what has she to be angsty about. Don't forget that quotes are always taken out of context to get hits on websites/magazine sales by being contentious and getting you to respond!
Summit however have been very hasty with their treatment of Rachelle, and will not benefit by it. A hastier rethink would be a sensible move - fans are very protective and from what I have heard much more angry than Summit would like to think. After all, Rob is still involved with 'Remember Me' and that is rumoured to be behind due to all the ridiculous behaviour of the US fans. Will they give him the same treatment then if he is late for the New Moon start date.....??

I would say she is right but I don't think is cool any more because victoria's hair is the same color as rachelle but don't replace rachelle to another actress.
