It isn't shocking that Nikki Ferrell is less than a fan of the “Bachelor” franchise, but it is rather puzzling. Ferrell was the “winner” of Season 18 of “The Bachelor” when Juan Pablo Galavis gave her the final rose. The newest "Bachelor" spin-off aired last night, and you can be sure that Ferrell and Galavis did not tune in to watch. According to an August 4 report from US Weekly, Nikki Ferrell said she would rather hurt herself than watch, and she used the hashtag “trainwreck” for good measure. Looks like the couple is over the franchise that helped them get together.

After “The Bachelor” wrapped production and “After the Final Rose” aired for Season 18, Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell wanted to be rid of the show's stigma. Galavis dropped the show from any of his appearances and refused to discuss his stint in any interviews. Ferrell has publicly bashed the franchise for the things they have said and done, keeping nothing to herself.

Fans aren't sure why Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell aren't embracing where they got their fame from. The truth of the matter is no one knew who they were prior to appearing on the show, and now they both have plenty of fans. Their social media following is decent, and both seem to be interacting with fans regularly. Ferrell's latest tweet features the couple celebrating Galavis' birthday.

Biting the hand that fed you is never a good idea, but it appears to be working for Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell. Despite their attempts, “The Bachelor” will forever be what shot them into fame. The couple is still not engaged, but they are definitely still together. When the new “Bachelor” is announced, expect to see comments from the couple. These two never stay quiet for long!
