The latest "Bachelor" couple are once again mad with the press. This time, it's not Juan Pablo Galavis who has lashed out at the press for what he says are lies but his girlfriend Nikki Ferrell. On Wednesday, April 23, Nikki posted a tweet stating that the recent story of Juan Pablo wanting her to leave her nursing career for a more high profile career in Miami is absolutely false.
Earlier that day, Us Weekly ran a story quoting a "friend" who said that Juan Pablo wants Nikki to move to Miami and work as a model or TV personality instead of continuing with her pediatric nurse career. While the friend said that Nikki loves her job, she may very well give in since "girls who date Juan do what he wants." Obviously, this story has contributed to the image of Juan Pablo as a controlling man who only went on "The Bachelor" for fame.
Nikki quickly took to Twitter to deny the story. She blasted the story as complete lies and slammed Us Weekly for being idiots who just made up the story. Funnily enough, Us Weekly pointed out in its story that Juan Pablo recently Instagrammed a photo of Nikki at her job, proclaiming that he loves the fact that she loves her job, hinting that what the "friend" said isn't entirely true.
While Juan Pablo and Nikki maintain that the Us Weekly story is not to be trusted, he has given his approval to another story. On Tuesday, April 22, Juan Pablo tweeted a link to an OK! Magazine article, congratulating on them on actually getting the story right. In that article, Juan Pablo talked about how he wants to take things slow with Nikki, as now is the time to get to know her "in her house, at her job, on the streets," another indicator that he's hardly pressuring her to make drastic changes to her life for him.
Although Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell are taking things slow, that doesn't mean that there won't be a wedding in the future. Juan Pablo told OK! Magazine that the number one item on his bucket list is to see his future wife walk down the aisle to him. That's important because the dad-of-one wants to have more children.
