"Nikita" aired an all-new episode on Channel 6 in Tempe last night. On Friday, Jan. 18, Huffington Post TV shared the latest comments made by Shane West about his character. Spoiler TV also shared the photos for "Nikita" episode 3.08 titled "Aftermath." Check out the photos here. If you missed any of the previously released photos or spoilers for this series, go here.
On the mid-season return for this series, Michael's life took a drastic change. After an accident during the chase with Amanda, his hand was caught underneath the car, and Nikita made the decision to cut off his hand in order to save his life. The car was about to explode. Shane West spoke about the accident and what's next for his character. He said the following, according to Huffington Post TV:
"Some of [the events] might be shocking, but I think the audience will be able to deal with it because it will propel the story farther and it already has. We’re so many episodes down the road from that because of what we physically shot. We’re starting episode 15, so you’ll see that, however this episode may end, you can trust me in saying that it’s going to go to amazing places … it changes the dynamic for a lot of different people, even though there are incidents that happen to just a couple people."
The next episode will also feature the next appearance for Owen. He still has his memory to recover, and that plot line will move forward as the season continues. Craig Silverstein revealed the following about what is next for Owen to TV Line:
"There’s another dynamic that he becomes a part of as a result of what happens between Michael and Nikita, which is still coming up. So, that sort of puts his memory thing aside for a little bit. Then the memory stuff comes back in a way and ends up getting him in trouble."
This change in dynamic is teased in the new preview. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
DEAR GOD, that was the most horrifying ending to #Nikita ever. Did they HAVE to do that??
"Nikita" will continue to air on Channel 6 in Tempe on Friday nights.
