Two Nike Kobe 9 Elite NRG colorways will be making their way to Los Angeles, Nike Vault announced on their Instagram account on Wednesday. Originally released earlier this week and believed to be exclusive to Nike's 21 Mercer store in New York, the news of the Kobe 9 Elite NRG getting a second release has come as a pleasant surprise to sneakerheads in the Los Angeles area. This will also mark the first time that the Kobe 9 in any form will be available outside of New York.
The shoes will be available for purchase on Saturday, February 1. Those interested in picking up a pair will have to go to the Nike Vault - located adjacent to the Staples Center - the morning of February 1 to check in and be eligible to win a chance to buy one of the two colorways.
The Kobe 9 Elite NRG consists of two colorways: white/black/volt and black/reflective silver/grey. First revealed back in December, the Kobe 9 Elite is a high-cut, high-performance basketball shoe that uses Flyknit for the first time ever on the hardwood.
Nike Los Angeles also recently announced that they will be giving away a complete Nike Kobe Prelude Pack. For more details, click here.
