Nike Sportswear has revealed their plans for the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend on Wednesday. Called the Crescent City Collection, this three-pack of kicks will celebrate the New Orleans style and culture that makes them one of the most beloved cities in the world.
The Crescent City Collection consists of the Nike Air Up '14, the Nike Air Force 1 CMFT and the Nike Flystepper 2K3. Here are the themes surrounding each individual model:
- The Nike Air Up '14 features characteristics of a boiled crawfish with a red upper with water droplets and steamed graphics.
- The Nike Air Force 1 CMFT is a mashup of several popular Nike Sportswear releases, including the Nike Air Foamposite One and the Nike LeBron 10 EXT "Cork" along with elephant, gator, pony hair, and safari prints.
- The Nike Flystepper 2K3 is a fusion of the Nike Sky Stepper and the Nike Zoom Flight 2K3, which includes a faux-alligator strap enclosure that is a real tribute to the skin of the American Alligator.
The Nike Sportswear Crescent City Collection will be available on Nike.com and select retailers on Thursday, February 13. Pricing has not been revealed for any of the sneakers in the collection.
