UPDATE: CCS.com will also be carrying the Diamond Dunk High
After weeks of speculation and rumors, the Nike SB x Diamond Dunk High has finally been given official status by Nike on Tuesday. A post on Nike's launch calendar reveals that the highly anticipated collaboration between Nike SB and Diamond Supply Co. will be available on Saturday, February 8 for $108.00 a pair.
The Diamond Dunk High is a sequel to one of the most popular SB Dunks of all-time, the Nike SB x Diamond Dunk Low. Released back in 2005, the Diamond Dunk Low was an amazing collaboration that incorporated the an "aqua" color on the toe, side panels, tongue and heel, black faux alligator material on the overlay and a chrome swoosh. The shoe was an instant classic among sneakerheads and casual fans alike and would come to represent one of the peak points of popularity in sneaker culture. The Diamond Dunk High is for all intents and purposes the same shoe with a higher cut.
Nike has also revealed the official apparel collection to compliment the Dunk High. However, unlike the Dunk High, several pieces from the collection are available now at Nike's online store.
