Nike Golf wasted no time uniting its new staffer, Rory McIlroy, and the guy who built the company into an industry behemoth, Tiger Woods, as the firm’s new joint commercial can attest. The old man and the heir apparent razz each other amusingly in what one can only imagine is the beginning of a beautiful (and bountiful -- given unofficial reports of McIlroy’s $200-million, 10-year contract) friendship.
Nike officially unveiled its multi-year deal with the world No. 1 on Monday, ending months of rumors and speculation.
