NIH clinical research studies looking to infect people with the flu

The National Institutes of Health are running a new study to find out if certain types of antibodies in our blood will affect whether or not people will get the flu.

The National Institutes of Health are getting ready for clinical trails on the flu virus and are currently recruiting healthy people between the ages of 18 to 50 years old, willing to participate in this study.

The study is to determine how people can be protected from getting infected with the flu.

All participants will have to be screened with a physical exam, medical history and laboratory tests.

After the screening the participants will be sprayed with the flu virus into their nose then monitored by a medical team.
