Everyone knows that The W Hotel is the place to be for hot nightlife in Dallas. But what you may not know is that The W's hip laid back Living Room Bar is jazzing up June with live jazz music from some hot performers. It may be just the thing you need to get you out of your weekday routine and warm you up for the weekend.
Summer is a great time to offer a more relaxed atmosphere, and The W is going to do it without losing its edgy urban vibe. Weekly jazz nights will take place mid-week for a Wednesday night "pick-me-up" sure to get you through until Friday.
The first Jazz Wednesday has come and gone, but it certainly is not too late to hear some great performances. Next week, June 13, Sierra Leone takes the stage, followed by Carruth's Analysis on the 20th. Finally, The Living Room Bar is rounding out the month with a highly anticipated performance from acoustic jazz artist, Micah Creel.
Because no one wants to pay a cover charge for mid-week entertainment, admission is free. Wednesday night jazz performances start at 7 p.m. weekly and are scheduled to last until approximately 10 p.m. -- so you won't be too late for work Thursday morning.
If you are up for a nice dinner before the performances start, head over to Craft, which opens for dinner on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m.Chef Tom Colicchio has developed a special summer menu that makes use of the freshest in-season ingredients.
