On Thursday, October 31, 2013, come out to Tacoma, Washington's Emerald Queen Casino and rock the night away for the Halloween event, "Night of the Singing Dead." The featured band, The Beatniks, will play a mix of popular music from the 60's and 70's, as well as some 80's hits too. Be prepared to hear covers of songs from artists like Jim Morrison and The Doors, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon and more. You'll find yourself dancing and singing along with this energetic band who originally formed in the 1990's. The Beatniks have performed around the country at more than 5,000 venues and for crowds of up to 35,000. Local radio station KZOK 102.5 FM, is one of the event's sponsors and actor and radio personalities Danny Bonaduce and Sarah will be your hosts for the evening. This is an event for persons 21 and older and if you dress up and enter the costume contest, you may win a cash prize of up to $500.
