Reports from Jos, Nigeria indicate that Muslim youth there have been attacking Christians, burning churches and Christian homes. Some believe that this has been a planned and orchestrated attack. Many of the young men involved are wearing military uniforms and carrying sophisticated weapons.
The situation seems to be calming somewhat now, but tensions remain high and violence could return.
Tulsa area churches can help by remembering to pray for the situation in Nigeria. Christian Aid Mission also has channels through which people can provide financial assistance to those whose families have been killed.
