American Idol had the first live voting show of the season on Tuesday night with the women competing first. While the decision hasn't been made public, apparently producer Nigel Lythgoe knows the results and he is pleased. The star shared a special message to fans who voted as he loves to share behind the scenes details with the serious fans. On Wednesday morning the star aligned with the fans in their decision of voting.
“I totally agree 100% with America's vote on #americanidol last night. The top 5 girls are all amazing,” tweeted Nigel Lythgoe from his official Twitter account. The entertainer stopped short of saying who will stay and who is heading home, but it’s obvious that he’s pleased with the decision.
With three nights of live shows, on Wednesday night American Idol kicks off with the top men performances. Once again, after the show is over, the fans are encouraged to start voting to help make cuts. Then on Thursday night the decision from both Tuesday and Wednesday will be revealed in what will be a difficult night of cuts.
