Nicolita – Cuban inspirations opened Style Fashion Week LA

October 18, 2011 – Nicolita, a swimwear line designed by Nicole Di Rocco, opened Style Fashion Week LA last night at Vibiana, in downtown Los Angeles.  Di Rocco’s collection, Con Sabor Tropical, have a signature fit of “Cuban style swimwear bottoms” designed for the curvaceous Latina figure.  “Cuban style bottoms are designed with more coverage on the hips, a heart shaped back side, and no-pinch fit elastic,” said Di Rocco.

Di Rocco is a Cuban-American designer infusing her family’s roots into her creations.  Her line walked down the runway last night to the sounds of Tito Puente’s “Mambo Gozon.” Find out more about her line at http://www.mynicolita.com
