Nicole Scherzinger won’t be returning to X Factor for the next season but she isn’t bitter about her departure. The former Pussycat Dolls group member has a new gig promoting hair products and will be leaving for a European tour in the days ahead. While Scherzinger hasn’t shared much about the reasons she has been told she isn’t returning to X Factor, on Wednesday she reminded everyone she did her best.
“Well, all I know is that I gave 110 percent to that show,” said Nicole Scherzinger. The artist has been under attack since she replaced Cheryl Cole and fans never really warmed up to her approach in judging.
The cuts at the X Factor for season two were deep with only LA Reid and Simon Cowell remaining as the show tries to rebuild. Leaving Nicole and Paula Abdul leaving, the fans will see a whole new judges giving advice.
“I loved being a part of my ‘X Factor’ family. Nothing could obviously prepare me for everything I had to go through, all the emotions and stuff, but I have no regrets. I’ve always believed in never looking back and just moving forward and I’ve got an amazing year to look forward to,” shared Nicole Scherzinger.
While Nicole Scherzinger doesn’t seem too disappointed in the departure, she can’t say it wasn’t expected. Fans had been calling on her to leave the show since midseason. For X Factor the focus of the show is to find out who will be replacing her to encourage the fans to return for a new season.
