On February 11, the queen of techno Nicole Moudaber announced an “In the MOOD” takeover of Brooklyn’s Output March 1. Her North American tour, which has been sweeping the country, will also be making subsequent stops to Canada this upcoming weekend.

With her newest release, ‘One Day Later’ EP on Carl Cox’s Intec Digital imprint and her upcoming debut at Coachella in April, the rising DJ is off to a groundbreaking 2014. Not only has she reached number one on Beatport’s techno chart but the artist has also earned a nomination at this year’s International Dance Music Awards for her work on the 2013 release “Roar,” which has created much buzz around her upcoming performances across the nation.

This weekend the artist plans for a much anticipated return to Montreal’s Stereo on Feb. 15 and Toronto’s Ryze on Feb. 16. Joining Moudaber at Stereo will be Canadian talent Nathan Barato who will be releasing his “Two Finger” EP on Moudaber’s Mood Records March 3.

In response to her upcoming return to Canada Moudaber stated,

Canada is like my second home. I just feel so much love in this place, it’s incredible. Every time I come, it grows and it grows… I have this connection with the people, the promoters, everybody around. They’re so welcoming.”

Hailed by Rolling Stone as being the "Best Dance Club in America,” Brooklyn’s Output promotes an unpretentious attitude and features some of the best talent in electronic dance music without the commercialism.
