February 11, 2012 – NEW YORK, NY – On Saturday, February 11, the Fall 2012 collection of designer Nicole Miller was presented at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York. With a mix of bold prints and rich textures, this collection was the perfect blend of urban style and bohemian chic. Perfect for the relaxed atmosphere in Denver, this collection offered a sense of polish with a relaxed and effortless vibe.
Miller showcased a mix of prints such floral and leopard, along with rich textures such as leather and wool, with more feminine chiffons and rich velvets. This collection was filled with pieces that can be matched with other pieces from the collection, or other pieces that you may have at home. Miller also continued the floppy hat trend that picked up steam last year.
The bold patterns and colors featured in this collection beg to be noticed and are perfect for people with bold personalities. While in contrast, other, more understated pieces from the collection would be great for the average boho girl who wants to look fabulous without screaming to be noticed.
Highlights from the show included a gorgeous leather mini dress with pieces of colored leather sewn together into a bold geometric pattern paired with a simple suede jacket. Another look paired a white fringe adorned top paired with an Edwardian style jacket.
Though Nicole Miller’s fall collection will not be available until later this year, her other collections can be purchased at Garbarini in Cherry Creek North.
