Actress Nicole Kidman joined director Park Chan-Wook and cast members Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode at a special screening of their new film Stoker at Curzon Soho on February 17, 2013 in London, England.
Nicole was wearing a fitted cobalt blue sheath and metallic pumps by designer L’Wren Scott, a Bottega clutch and Stroiloro earrings. That golden mesh turtleneck attachment on the dress made quite a statement as well…
Costar Mia wore an unusual blue and black velvet dress by Christopher Kane, teamed with black Jimmy Choo pumps, while Matthew looked dapper in his dark suit and tie.
A British-American collaboration, the psychological thriller/horror film “Stoker” is about young India (Wasikowska ) whose father dies, and she learns that she has an “Uncle Charlie” (Goode) who comes to live with her and her unstable mother (Kidman). India suspects that her charming yet mysterious uncle has ulterior motives yet becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
Surprisingly, Stoker was influenced by Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” but the film is not about vampires. Stoker is also the last film to be produced by Tony Scott who died (apparently of a suicidal jump from a bridge) during its production.
Also attending the special screening of Stoker in London were Charlotte Ritchie in a rocking red and white lobster motif dress, actress Camilla Rutherford, musician Carl Barat and actor Riz Ahmed.
Stoker also stars Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver and David Alford. Enjoy the slideshow of the Stoker special screening at Curzon Soho in London…
