There’s another negative paparazzi story making the rounds late Thursday night according to Us Weekly on early Friday morning. Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman, 46, was outside of the Carlyle Hotel, on the sidewalk – literally - in uptown Manhattan in New York City on Thursday when a member of the infamous paparazzi was riding a bicycle and, unfortunately, plowed into her and knocked her over. Reportedly dressed in a sexy grey mini-dress and high heels, Kidman was had just come out of the Calvin Klein fashion show in Tribeca and took a car to the Carlyle Hotel on New York City’s upper East Side.
As Kidman stepped out of her vehicle, a photographer Carl Wu – who was definitely in pursuit of the famed red-headed Australian actress – came barreling down the sidewalk at some-20 miles per hour when he lost control of his bicycle and crashed into her. Kidman fell to the cement upon impact.
Witnesses to the accident say that Kidman was helped back onto her feet by a bodyguard and her publicist. She was heard shouting, “Oh my God!” and “Ow!” After the incident, she put her shoes back on and ran into the hotel.
It is assumed that Kidman will press charges against the photographer who was given a ticket and later arrived at a local police station. Allegedly, Wu’s bicycle brakes gave out, and that’s why he lost control of his bike.
