SAG Awards 2013 double nominee Nicole Kidman and nominee Naomi Watts glowed in black on the red carpet at the 2013 Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills on Jan. 26. The friends posed together on the red carpet in stunning dresses by L’wren Scott and Victoria Beckham, respectively.
Watts accessorized her Victoria Beckham dress with Rupert Sanderson shoes, and Monique Pean jewels. An elegant Kidman accessorized her L’wren Scott dress with Nicholas Kirkwood heels and Fred Leighton's Art Deco platinum, diamond, and onyx pendant earrings.
Naomi Watts is nominated for a 2013 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role. She is nominated for her impossibly heart wrenching role in the movie, “The Impossible,” based on the true story of one of the worst natural disasters of our lifetime. She goes up against Jennifer Lawrence (“Silver Linings Playbook”), Helen Mirren (“Hitchcock”), Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”) and Marion Cotillard (“Rust and Bone”).
Double nominee Nicole Kidman is nominated for a 2013 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role and for an Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries.
In the movie category, she is nominated for her role in “The Paperboy.” She goes up against Sally Field (“Lincoln), Helen Hunt (“The Sessions”), Anne Hathaway (“Les Misérables”) and Maggie Smith (“Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”).
In the television category, she is nominated for her role in “Hemingway & Gellhorn,” and is up against Alfre Woodard (“Steel Magnolias”), Julianne Moore (“Game Change”), Sigourney Weaver (“Political nimals”)and Charlotte Rampling (“Restless”).
The SAG awards will air live at 8 p.m. EST on Jan. 27 on TNT and TBS.
