On Saturday night “American Idol” judge Nicki Minaj visited Lil Wayne at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles where the rapper has been hospitalized after suffering from a series of seizures, TMZ reported on Sunday, March 17. Lil Wayne was hospitalized on Tuesday, but was released and re-admitted to the ICU on Wednesday after he was found by his bodyguard unconscious on the floor.
According to TMZ, Minaj arrived at approximately 8 p.m. and visited with Lil Wayne for about one hour, leaving around 9 p.m., when TMZ photographers caught up with the music sensation.
Minaj was signed to Lil Wayne’s music label “Young Money” in 2007 and is currently a judge on the twelfth season of the reality singing competition “American Idol.” Minaj joined original judge Randy Jackson, and new judges music icon Mariah Carey and country music superstar Keith Urban at this year’s judges table.
Nicki Minaj is one of many other celebrities who have been to visit Lil Wayne, also known as “Weezy,” at Cedars-Sinai hospital include Birdman, Drake and Clippers star Chris Paul.
